Great article and such important stuff for people to know. Thanks for posting this.

I am violently allergic to Nonoxynol-9 and I went to doctor after doctor (including high end enough gynos that they were professors in the field) and nobody figured out the problem. I finally mostly figured it out myself, after a long period of abstinence, when I became sexually active that way with the male of the species again. Here is a little humor ditty I wrote about it years ago

Hey Amelia! Thanks for the comments. I have a problem with having very sensitive skin and after being burnt by a clitoral sensation lotion, I decided to start looking in to what I was putting on my body after that. I was actually shocked to find out what was in some of the products. Wow… Your ditty is great. I love the part: “People want to have safe sex where they get no diseases and they get no babies so they smear this cream between their legs and it eats their flesh. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.” Spermicide, like flesh eating disease! I never thought about the linguistics of the word before. This is great! Thanks for sharing it!

Great article. Any suggestions on specifi safe lubes? I work at an adult store and am always sterring people towards safe materials and hypoallergenic products and am always curious about the best stuff. Intimate Organics and Sliquid are great. Also a good point is that glycerine dries the skin, so over time- you need more lube. Kind of the Wal-Mart of lube. The product falls apart so you should buy again soon. lol
