Natural Contours is a line of “personal products for women by women” created by Candida Royalle. I have always been curious about the line in that they don’t look like your average sex toy and are very discreet. I also figured, since they are ergonomically designed, that they may prove to be a superior sex toys. A few months back I reviewed the Energie and the Ideal by Natural Contours and loved them both [my review] [my review]. Today, I bring you the Petite.

The Petite is pretty and pink with 10% of the proceeds from sales of the pink Petite going to Breast Cancer Action. Breast cancer is always a concern for women as 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer, so I am always happy to support something that can help save people’s lives, including my own.

The Petite is a curved wide vibrator that is meant to stimulate the vulva and clitoris by following the natural contour of the public bone where it rests. It is made of smooth ABS plastic and is a very comfortable material. It features three speeds which are controlled via a slider switch and is very quiet. It comes in a very nice storage box with its own set of “power for pleasure” batteries, which for me is a big bonus as there is nothing worse than trying to find batteries for a new vibe if you haven’t got them on hand. So, very smart and courteous!

The curve of the vibe allows it to fit very comfortably in place with minimal effort. I found the vibrations, even on the highest of the three settings, to be quite subtle. This may be enough for some women to get off with, if they are into subtle, sensual arousal over powerful vibrations. I found it was a good warm-up vibe, but ultimately not one that would get me off without a lot of time, visualization and extra stimulation. I think this would be a good vibe for women who are just discovering sex toys and want something very discreet. Or, perfect for women who don’t want a lot of power, but enjoy a subtle vibration over a fireworks display.
